Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (Project) for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:
1. Name of the project & Duration of the Project: Project entitled “Analysis of eRNA at Enhancer Eb of murine TCRb locus” funded by SERB
2. Tenable till – 20.03.2021
3. Post details and No of Posts: Senior Research Fellow (Project) (One position only)
4. Name of the Project Investigator and Email ID: Dr. Madhulika Srivastava SS-VII madhu@nii.ac.in
5. Educational Qualifications : M.Sc in Biotechnology/equivalent or any branch of Biological Science and at least two years of research experience. The candidates should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019.
6. Job description & Desired Knowledge: The selected candidate will carry out experiments on mammalian cell lines and primary cells of mice. He/She must have the ability to handle molecular and cellular techniques independently including mammalian cell culture, mouse dissections, RNA and genomic DNA isolation, cloning, RT-qPCR, fluorescence microscopy, ChIP and chromosome conformation capture analysis.
7. Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 24%HRA (As sanctioned by the funding agency)
Terms and conditions:
1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
3. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
5. Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.
