Qualification Details:

Two positions of Senior Research Fellow at Rs. 31,000/- PM fixed + 16% HRA in the scheme “Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) in Hybrid technology for higher productivity in selected field and horticultural crops - Wheat, ICAR 78 (PC 2345)” in Wheat Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

4. Educational Qualifications:- 

i. B.Sc.(Agri.)/Biosciences/Biotechnology/Forestry with minimum OCPA 6.0/10.0 or 60 % marks.

ii. M.Sc. Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics ‘crop plants’/Biosciences/Biotechnology/Forestry with minimum OCPA 6.5/10.00 or 65% marks.

Note:

Note-1: The candidate who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D Degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.

Note-II: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and two years research experience. However, Ph.D candidates are exempted from this condition. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill the qualifications by the last date of submission of application.

Note-III: Desirable: Experience/ Research work in relevant field.

1. The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 02-07-2020. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained.

2. The candidates should appear for interview on 08-07-2020 at 12.00 noon in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent.

3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

4. Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM along with attested copies of certificates for two positions of Senior Research Fellow.
