Qualification Details:
In view of the exigencies related with the COVID-19 pandemic and in view of ensuring adequate preparedness for the Covid Care Centres in 169 coaches in 17 trains for management of COVID-19 Medical Department of KUR Division, it has been decided to engage Para-medical staff (Staff Nurses, now re-designated 'Nursing Superintendent'). Pharmacists and Dressers/OTA/Hospital Attendants (Level-I) on contractual basis, for COVID Care centre in coaches (169 coaches i.e 10 coaches/ train for 17 trains approx.), Medical department in KUR division, East Coast Railway from willing eligible candidates, for a period of one month from the date of such engagement, which can be extended purely on administrative requirement and willingness of concerned candidate, or till the scheme is available whichever is earlier. Screening will be conducted to adjudge the suitability of the candidates, the details of which are provided below.
1. The Vacancies May Alter As Per Administrative Requriment At Any Time During The Engagement.
i. For Dresser/ota/hospital Attendants And Housekeeping Assisatnts. The Candidates Should Be Minimum A Matriculate.
2. Nursing Superintendent: 255
i. Candidates must have passed three years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a School of Nursing or other Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or B.Sc. (Nursing).
3. Pharmacist: 51
i. 10+2 in Science or its equivalent with Diploma in Pharmacy frorrl recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 OR Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University or equivalent and Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
4. Dresser/OTA/ Hospital Attendant: 255
i. Minimum Matriculate
5. Monthly remuneration: In terms of Railway Board 's Letter No.2017/ Trans/ 01/Policy/ Pt..l dt 12.042018, candidates engaged on contract basis, shall be paid the entry level pay of the relevant Level in the Pay Matrix, along with DA, House Rent Allowance, Hospital patient Care Allowance, etc, as admissible. to each category.
Age: 18 - 38 Years. Age will be reckoned as on 01.05.2020, upper age limit is relaxable for 03 years for the OBC candidates and 05 years for SCIST community candidates,
Terms and conditions:
1. Selected candidates will be subjected to medical examination and only medically fit candidates will be engaged.
2. The engagement will not confer any right for automatic regularization or absorption in railways.
3. The detailed instructions with regard to the duties while in contract in Railways shall be given to the concerned candidate in the event of selection along with the offer of engagement.
4. Appearance in the interview/application for the post will not vest any right upon the candidate to be engaged on contract & no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made with the candidate in the event of candidate not getting selected.
5. The administration of the ECoR/Khurda Road reserves absolute right to cancel this notification without assigning any reason(s).
6. The engagement is purely for managing COVID-19 for the patients to be admitted in the Covid Care Coaches set up by the railway.
7. Empanelled candidates will be called for reporting for duties as and when Administration decides to employ them.
