Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for the position of Consultant (Project) for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below.
Consultant (Project).
1. Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in the area of Life Sciences, Cancer Immunotherapy, Tumour Microenvironment, Molecular Biology, or any other relevant field of Cancer Biology with a minimum of 6 years of teaching/ research experience.
2. Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments Rs. 96,000/- per month (fixed) as per ICMR letter, depending upon qualifications & experience.
3. Job description & Desired Knowledge: The Candidate should have Knowledge about molecular biology techniques, cancer cell line handling, PCR analysis, plasmid DNA isolation and animal handling. The successful candidates are expected to conduct innovative basis and translational research and contribute to the objectives of project. The positions offer ample opportunities for close collaboration with clinicians and scientists in a thriving world class tertiary cancer hospital.
4. Number of Post: 01.
5. Name of the project & Duration of the Project: Project entitled Development of dendritic cell vaccine for the treatment of recurrent/metastatic reproductive cancers funded by ICMR Tenable till – 14.01.2024.
Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs 100/- drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank payable at Delhi/New Delhi in favour of the Director, NII (SC/STPH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees) subject to submission of documentary proof), at the time of interview.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
3. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email about the date and time of interviews. Interview of shortlisted candidates will be held online through video conferencing.
6. Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.
