Qualification Details:
The position of Research Associate on purely contractual basis for a period of 11 months (Extendable as per the recommendations of WCD), to work in the research project funded by Ministry of Women and Child Development, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
1. Position Research Associate (01) to be placed at Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta, Kerala

3. Essential qualification Masters in Home Science/ Food Science and Nutrition/Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition/ Social Work/ Psychology with knowledge of Computers from an accredited institution A relevant experience in the field/ Community Nutrition/ Community Work will be given preference
4. Emoluments 20000/- per month along with TA/DA as per Govt. rule
5. Preferential qualification Proficiency in Malayalam The desired candidate should be willing to travel to the field and ready for any additional duties
6. Job Description Along with the team, plan and coordinate with the local community for conducting household survey. Carry out the household survey at multiple locations in the district under the supervision of research Manager/ PI . Ensure that the survey schedule is filled with accuracy and clarity . Assist in the collection of background information of the research area and in data entry . Report to Research Manager on a daily basis on work progress . Develop research protocol . Collaboration with PI or Research Manager . Abstract Data from participants/ target population . Validate quality of data elements/data editing . Evaluate consistency of data . Provide computational research support . Perform studies as related to research project . Diagnose and problem solve as it relates to the research project . Recruit and enroll study participants . Write protocols and informed consents . Perform study scheduling . Track subject’s participation . Conduct literature searches . Administer patient interviews and preparing assessments. Verify and analyze research data . Prepare samples for analysis by various instrumentation . Perform experiments . Tabulate research data . Record results of experiments . Develop research survey, questionnaire, or tests . Prepare research manuscripts and research presentations . Develop and maintain research databases
Age: Maximum 30 years for male and Maximum 35 years for female (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government rules).
