Qualification Details:
1. Name of the position: Senior Research Fellow: 02
2. Name of the project: ICAR-BNF Incentivizing Research in Agriculture: Genetic modification to improve biological nitrogen fixation’’ (in bacteria)
3. Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Agrl Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biote c hnology/ Life Sciences. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET or GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines or equivalent/Ph.D in any of the above disciplines or integrated (B.Tech+M.Tech.,5years) in relevant subject. 4. Desirable qualification:
i) Demonstrated experience in basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning, gene function and characterization.
ii. Basic bioinformatics tools of sequence analysis, expression analysis.

6. Name of the project: Niti-AAyog Mass- Production of Manure/Fertilizer from Agricultural Bio-mass
7. Desirable qualification: Demonstrated experience in basic microbiological techniques, soil enzyme estimations, Soil physical & chemical analysis. Knowledge of mass production of microbial inoculants
Ability to work in field
8. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA
9. Duration of the project: One year or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Terms and conditions:
1. All the positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.
2. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminous with the project.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
4. If already working, then NOC from the present employer is a must.
5. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

6.
